Twitter was launched publicly on July 15th, 2006. Jack Dorsey is the oldest Twitter user. His tweet was the first, ever, to be sent via SMS into the Twitterverse. The Twitter system is so simple from the very beginning. Twitter counts how many tweets you have posted, how many accounts you follow, and how many accounts follow you. Facebook has done the same in their first era, your account has numbers of how many posts you have published. But they decided to delete it afterward.

Twitter is a social media where it relies on text. So, Twitter is text-based. Because it's text-based, you can send or receive short posts or messages called tweets. Tweets can be up to 140 characters long and can include links to relevant websites and resources. Twitter users follow other users. If you follow someone you can see their tweets in your Twitter timeline. You can choose to follow people and organizations that match your interest or enthusiasm. And, you can follow anyone. Literally anyone. There’s no limit to it.

Why you should use Twitter?

               Twitter has become increasingly popular for more than a decade. And, Twitter has been a top choice with students, society, politicians, and the general public. Twitter allows you some things interesting.

·        Reach new audiences/friends.

·        Find feedback about your works.

·        Keep up-to-date with the newest news.

·        Promote your own website, like blogs, word press by providing the links.

·        Express who you are.

To sum it up, Twitter is a pretty easy, effortless social media. You don’t have to put your best picture if your intention is not to promote your works. You just need sentences, statements to announce.

What should and should not you tweet about?

               There are lots of things you should tweets since you will find entertaining instruments on Twitter. You can tweet anything you want but wisely.

Should:

·        You can tweet about what you love, what you like, what your hobbies are.

·        You can leave your remarks in your favorite people reply section.

·        You can retweet your favorite footballer posts.

·        You can promote your works, your journal, your arts, anything you produce.

Should not:

·        Put your personal identity. Any identity. No matter what the purposes.

·        Do racism towards anyone.

·        Mock someone with harsh words

·        Bullying

There are so many things do’s and don’ts on Twitter. Not only on Twitter, on all social media platforms. You have to be careful what you write, what you tweet. Karma works for the villains.

In summary, Twitter is a very broad internet web. You can find anything on the internet, anyone you want to know, any information you want to look for. But people also can find you where ever you are, what you do, what films you watch, even what food you did eat. Information is so cheap on the internet. It all depends on how you use the internet. Use the internet all you want, but use it wisely. You have to know the consequences for everything you do. Internet is fun, enjoyable but scary. If you don’t want to be dragged down, play safely. If you want to play harshly, be ready for something you never expect to happen.
